The Beanie and Poll Results
Welcome to the 3rd issue of The Rebound. It was a quiet week in the RKL ecosystem. No chef’s cooking… This week we’ll discuss the results of last week community survey on the Kong Designs as well as the community reaction to TheBeanie.

We were blown away by the community response to the possible Kong Designs
Consensus was Designs 2 and 10 with 5 coming in third.
The team has already iterated on the feedback and earlier today I saw a first pass at an updated design given the wealth of community feedback.
All community members who responded to the Survey will receive a POAP for your participation.
The Beanie!
Steph wore a RKL beanie live on ESPN for his postgame interview after last weeks game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The community stepped up and started swagging out other collections with RKL merch.
The RKL is a place for anyone in the metaverse. Eventually all avatars will be able to play in the RKL.
Kong Design Feedback
We were amazed with the response we got from the survey! We want to especially thank all the people who wrote detailed feedback about how they’d improve and combine the Kong designs.
1st - Kong Design 2 (30.2%)
2nd - Kong Design 10 (28%)
3rd - Kong Design 5 (15.4%)
The specific feedback that we took and are implementing is:
Trying to combine Kong Design #10 with #2. Many people liked the taller and more humanoid body of #10 but wanted significantly bigger arms to keep the Kong-ness in the avatar.
Working to make the face more true to the RKL NFTs. Sick is working to make sure that his unique art style isn’t lost when we move from a 2D NFT to 3D gameplay.
I saw a lot of comments worried about this both in the discord and in the survey results and want to assure the community that you were heard and we’re already working on it.
During our team sync, I saw the first updated pass at what a Kong could look like. While I can’t show them to you today, I can tell you that the team stopped our conversation to just admire how amazing they looked.
Shoutout to the literal only respondent in our whole survey that voted for Kong Design #7.

The Beanie
So. TheBeanie…. If you didn’t know, Steph Curry, owner of 6 Kongs, decided to wear a RKL beanie to his post game press conference on Thursday night after dropping 40 points in a win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The RKL went nuts. Twitter blew up with posts about Steph and derivatives.
The excitement that was in our community was contagious and many other NFT projects wanted to get involved. The RKL is a place for all avatars to come together and watch game in the metaverse. Community members started swagging out other NFTs with RKL merch all weekend! Here are some of our favorites:
