Community Shout Outs:
Merch is Back
Given a huge wave of new members to our community and the global presence of our merch in the last couple weeks, the team has been seeing more and more posts of “wen merch” from the community. Although we generally want to make each wave of merch special by never offering it again, after much debate we made a one time exception to this rule.
We will be re-opening our merch store up with our genesis drop on Friday December 10th Noon ET, 9am PT. This will be the final time these designs are offered.
Clubs Clarifications:
Last week we announced details around RKL:Clubs. The community had a lot of questions and concerns surrounding details and specifics. While we held a Twitter Spaces to help answer some of those questions, we understand that not everyone could be there to hear.
We’re going to rehash some of the things that were said in that
All funds from our club drop will be re-invested in the RKL ecosystem. (whether that be in marketing, production costs, PR, prize fund, or game development)
All mechanics of compensation between a Kong Owner and the Club Owner will happen on chain. The purpose of that comment was to get peoples imagination going.
What happens to the other 1000 Kongs? (If there are 300 teams with 30 Kong rosters, 1,000 Kongs will not be in the official League)
Every Kong will be able to participate in the RKL in some capacity. There will be staking, renting, pick up games, tournaments in addition to the fact that not every Kong will want to be in the official league.
Marcus’s iconic response “Yes” is now immortalized in a meme.

Paul George:
Paul George is Kong. That's it.
That’s all I have for you this week. On a personal note, I wanted to thank all the Kongs and people I met at Art Basel! It was a fantastic time and my first time really immersed in the crypto/NFT community. A highlight was definitely seeing my PFP next to a punk at the Coinbase party.
