We hope you're as excited as we are about the progress we’ve made on the Rumble Kong League lately! Another month, another Rumble Rewind with our team working tirelessly to deliver greatness on the virtual basketball court.
Let’s jump straight in…
Prototyping
In our quest to build the best web3 sports game, we’ve taken feedback from last month’s Pre-Alpha Tests into account and started prototyping new features. One recurring point of feedback has been to provide players with ways to have more impact during a game.
We tested and scrapped a number of features but feel very positive about the addition of Shoot, Pass, and Steal buttons.
We are still in the early prototype stage and will be undergoing further testing and refinement, but we're confident that they will add a new level of excitement to the game in combination with abilities.
New Animations
We've also added a range of new finishing and defensive moves to the game. These new animations will make the game feel even more realistic, and increase the overall immersion of the game.
3D Traits
One of the biggest changes we've made to the game is transforming many of the 2D traits into their 3D equivalents. This will give players a more immersive experience and further enhance the overall Rumble Kong League game for our community.
Samurai Skin
Another new addition has been the development of a brand-new customization option for your favorite hooper: The Samurai outfit!
Customization and wearables will give you the chance to stand out on the court even more, and make it clear to your opponents that you are a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court.
Beach Court
Last but not least, we're excited to announce that we're adding a brand new court to the game: a beach-style basketball court! Our team is now working on the 3D design of this court, and we can't wait for you to experience it for yourself in the future.
